Resurfacing Rte 24 - Fall River Expressway (Massachusetts, US)

The work developed in this project:
- Hot applied asphaltic crack filler to be applied as surface preparation for placement of the proposed Ultra Thin Bonded Overlay – Polymer Modified (UTBO-64E-28).
- Micromilling for inlay of the Route 24 mainline and HMA bridges to a maximum depth of 3/4 inches along the fog lines.
- Resurfacing of the Route 24 mainline with 3/4 inch of Ultra Thin Bonded Overlay – Polymer Modified (UTBO-64E-28).
- Fog seal the shoulders along the Route 24 mainline.
- Mircomilling of the Route 24 mainline an additional depth of two inches at bridge deck approaches and resurfacing with 2 inches of Superpave Surface Course - 12.5 Polymer(SSC-12.5-P).
- Micromilling of the ramps at Route 27, Route 123, Route 106 and Route 104 to a depth of 2 inches and resurfacing with 2 inches of Superpave Surface Course - 12.5 Polymer (SSC-12.5-P) placed in one layer.
- Adjusting or rebuilding of drainage structures as required. Placement of milling mulch to fill in eroded areas at the edge of the roadway.
- Installation of compost filter tubes/ sedimentation fence as required.
- Selective Clearing and Thinning of vegetation along the edge of road for roadside clearance and for sight distance at signs.
- Removing and resetting curb, edging, and curb inlets as required.
- Application of Pavement Markings and installation of Slotted Pavement Markers and Reflectorized Recessed Lines.
- Other incidental work to complete the project.
